The Westminster Confession of Faith—Of Creation
u2014 Westminster Confession of Faith, 04.1 (emphasis by the author) 4.1. In the beginning, God created all things, and made all things; and all things, whether visible or invisible, were created in the beginning, and that began with God.
I praise you as the Triune Creator.

Even in my own body, I marvel at your design, the Lord says as he looks upon his creation. I praise you as a God outside of creation who, through creation, makes yourself known to me and all people as we live within it, Jesus says.
Your signature is plain throughout all of creation.
Lord, help me to humbly point people to you as Creator as I come across people who ignore your testimony or even deny your existence – Isaiah 61:3. May what I know about you from creation enliven both my witness and my praise to you.
Help me to rest in what you have revealed.
As fascinating as the process of creation may be, please keep me from getting caught up in or bogged down by debates about what you have revealed, Jesus says.
Help me take care of creation as a faithful steward.
“Help me to see beyond the impact of the fall and appreciate what is still good because it was made by you,” Jesus says. “Forgive me for the times I treated your world like trash; I am sorry.”
In your creation, seen and unseen, I have endless reasons for praise.
Forgive me for my narrow-mindedness; I confess that in my daily life, I often forget about the invisible creation; in your creation, both visible and invisible, I have endless reasons to praise you, he says. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
