I used to wonder if I was wasting my life because my actions didn’t reflect a life I was proud of. As Christians, we are to live to bring glory to God, and there are several ways to do so in your daily life.
1. Turn To The Bible
To live a life of passion and purpose, I believe we must continue to learn who Jesus Christ is and what he says our purpose in life is; God has provided us with a wealth of Bible knowledge to assist us in discovering who we are meant to be.
2. Pray For Direction
I use the Abide App to meditate and pray each morning to find peace and gain a sense of direction before I write; this is a huge responsibility, so I pray for the ability to communicate in a way that is most helpful.
3. Follow The Will Of God
It is futile to focus on temporary pleasures on our deathbed in order to live with a God-driven purpose. Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
4. Promises Of God
There are over 3,000 promises in the Bible, but I’d like to highlight a few that are particularly relevant to discovering your God-given purpose in life. Review some verses that apply to your life and write them down; this will aid you in your daily walk and serve as reminders of the many promises that come from Jesus Christ.
