MESSAGE OF THE WEEK: Ten steps toward finding wholeness
Embrace the freedom that Christ offers us u2013 to be forgiven and cherished no matter what. 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” Stop yourself when an unhealthy thought enters your mind. 2 Corinthians 10:5 says, “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets it up.”
What God says about wholeness?
God is our portion. He is a part of our whole. We are not complete without him. Psalm 73:26 says, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
How do you pray for restoration?
bind up my broken heart, proclaim freedom over my life, and release me from my darkness, Heavenly Father, you who makes all things new and brings beauty from our ashes.
How do I pray for God to heal my body?
I choose to bathe in these clear waters every day, Lord, because the oil of your healing flows through me like a living stream. I will keep my eyes on you and trust in you that I will fully recover. I give you everything I am, and I rest in your peace.
How do I pray to God to bring someone back into my life?
I pray this in the hope that you will return my love to me, Amen. Almighty God, you have been nothing but gracious to me, and I come to you grateful for the good life I have. God, I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to be alive.
What is the difference between healing and wholeness?
The difference, as Terri explained it, is that healing will make you well; disease (or problem) will stop, but only wholeness will allow you to move forward, fully repair, and rebuild.
What does it mean to have wholeness?
The need for wholeness and harmony in mind, body, and spirit is defined as the quality of being complete or a single unit that is not broken or divided into parts.
What does God say about restoration?
The promise of restoration is repeated throughout the Bible, u201cI will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lordu201d (Jeremiah 30:17, New International Version).
Will God restore a broken relationship?
After all, a famous quote says, u201cIf God can restore us back to himself, he can restore any relationship back to us.u201d We read about Jesus going up to Jerusalem for the Passover feast in Luke chapter 2 verses 13-16.
Where does the Bible talk about restoration?
10 And after you have suffered for a short time, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
What is the most powerful prayer for healing?
Loved God, I pray that you will comfort me in my suffering, strengthen the hands of my healers, and bless the methods used to cure me; give me such faith in the power of your grace that I may put my complete trust in you even when I am afraid; through our Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
What is the most powerful miracle prayer?
Lord Jesus, I come before Thee, just as I am, I am sorry for my sins, I repent of my sins, please forgive me, and I forgive all others for what they have done against me in Thy Name.
How do I activate God’s healing power?
Allow God’s healing power to flow freely in your life!
- Receive and share healing words.
- Pray with authority to release God’s power.
- Continue to minister to people if they aren’t healed right away.
- Use the five-step prayer model.
- Step out, take risks, and watch God do the miraculous.
Will God remove someone from your life?
Remember that God has a plan for everyone’s life, including yours, and that plan may take them away from you; everything happens for a reason. They may need to fulfill their God-given purpose elsewhere.
Does God care about what I want?
God is able to do abundantly more than we can ask for, think about, or pray for, just as Solomon was able to do abundantly more than we can ask for, think about, or pray for. God’s heart is to do even more than you are asking for.
Why does God want me to be alone?
When we are alone, God has the opportunity to speak to us and receive our undivided attention. We are told nine times in the gospels that Jesus went away to a lonely place to be with the father, and that Jesus sought solitude in order to seek the father’s will for his life.
