I’m not an expert on prayer, and I don’t think I’m very good at it. But there are at least three things God wants His beloved children to understand about prayer: 1. God does not rely on the skillfulness of our prayers, 2. God wants us to know that He doesn’t need our skill. Prayer is not a performance; it is a relationship, and God wants us to know that He wants us.
