It’s Not That God Didn’t Answer Your Prayers, It’s That You Didn’t Get The Response You Wanted
Many people believe that God does not answer their prayers because things do not go their way; however, just because we did not receive what we asked for does not mean that he did not answer our prayers or that he does not exist.
Sometimes the answer is NO
What we ask for isn’t always what’s best for us at the time, or even in the long run; God puts our faith to the test to see if we can hold our ground when things don’t go our way; what appears to be greener on the other side may not be so green after all.
Sometimes we just aren’t LISTENING
Instead of focusing on prayer to solve all of our problems, we should focus on meditation. Listening is more than just being quiet; it’s about being present, and instead of trying to be heard, we should be listening to what God has to say.
Sometimes we have to be PATIENT
When we ask God for something, we shouldn’t expect it right away. God doesn’t give us what we want right away; instead, he wants us to wait. By making us wait, he is teaching us to trust that he will eventually do what he said he would.
Many of us believe that our prayers go unheard because we don’t take the time to listen. God isn’t our bellhop; he doesn’t come running when we call; when he does, we must make sure we are paying attention.
