I’ve noticed that the things I want are largely circumstantial and based on life circumstances, whereas God desires things that are un-circumstantial or relate to the state of my heart. I believe God loves each of us and cares deeply about our desires, and I believe He delights in giving us even the small things we ask for. So how do I pray for the things I want while accepting God’s will?
