9 Powerful Prayers to Pray Each Day –
Every Christian’s lifeline is prayer, and now, more than ever, we can pray to God to heal the hurt and pain that surrounds us. Here are 9 powerful prayers to pray each day to prepare ourselves to fight the spiritual battle.
1. Lord, show me your glory. (Exodus 33:18)
Exodus 33:11-33:18: Moses asked God to show him his glory, which in Hebrew means glory, honor, glorious abundance, dignity, splendor, riches, and reputation. When we boldly ask God to reveal his glory to us, amazing things can happen.
2. Create in me a pure heart, O God. (Psalm 51:10)
David humbly asked God to create a pure heart within him in Psalm 51, and Jesus paid the ultimate price on the cross so that we can live purified lives before God, free from the guilt of our past sins and able to walk in freedom and victory knowing that we are cleansed and purified.
3. Save me, O God. (Psalm 69:1a)
I sink into the miry depths, where there is no foothold; I have entered the deep waters; the floods engulf me. God gives us eternal salvation through Christ, and can save us from the difficult circumstances we are facing.
4. Summon your power, O God; show us your strength. (Psalm 68:28)
As believers, we have the same Holy Spirit who can do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ever ask, seek, or imagine in our lives.
5. Teach me your way, O Lord. (Psalm 86:11)
Isn’t God the best teacher? We can learn everything we need to know to live a life of godliness and faith in Him from His word, which not only leads us but also teaches us how to live. This is a prayer we can pray on a regular basis for God’s Word to teach us his ways.
6. Teach us to number our days. (Psalm 90:12)
Psalm 90:12. Life is short, and we can’t afford to waste a single day fuming with rage and bitterness. It’s time to make the most of the time we have on this planet to make a significant impact on the world for the Kingdom.
7. Open my eyes. (Psalm 119:18)
Have you ever read passages from God’s Word that seemed to jump off the page? The more we dig into his Word, the more precious gems of wisdom and understanding we can discover. Psalm 119:18 is one of those gems that opens our spiritual eyes to amazing truths.
8. Lord, help my unbelief! (Mark 9:24)
A man with a demon-possessed son approached Jesus for help in Mark 24, and even Jesus’ disciples were unable to help him. The man humbly asked Jesus, “But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”
