On Religion: How could God love me?
“I pray that you, with all the saints, may have power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,” Ephesians 3:17-18. My oldest daughter, Kayla, graduated from high school two weeks ago.
“I want her to understand how wide, long, high, and deep the love of Christ is,” he says. Most people would agree that John 3:16 is the most popular verse in the Bible. In many ways, you and I are unlovable. How could God love us? Because God is love, and loving undeserving sinners like you and me is what he does best.
What would happen if a person has no prayer life?
Doubts, discouragement, fatigue, distraction, inner restlessness, haste, despair, and self-righteousness can be enemies of prayer, fostering disunity. Life without prayer is a life without power.
Why does God love us so much?
The answer is that God loves you because of who he is, not because of who you are or what you’ve done. When we doubt God’s love for us, it’s almost always because we’re focusing on ourselves u2014 our insecurities, shortcomings, sins, and insignificance.

Why is Prayerlessness a sin?
3. All obedience is righteousness, while all disobedience is evil doing. The Lord has given us this command to pray, and if we do not follow it, we are clearly sinning against Him.
