Prayer for Atheists: a helpful practise even if you don’t believe in God
It is possible to be a praying atheist, or a “pray-theist,” without believing in God. Prayer for the atheist can be as simple as singing in the car or in the shower.
As an atheist, I find it helpful to write a daily list of things and people for which I am grateful. Prayer is “I humble myself by getting on my knees and praising you, and in exchange you give me what I ask for.”
