Faith, as a gift from God, is an assurance we have hope in and conviction of things we do not yet see. When we pray in faith to be healed or to mend a broken relationship, it is not our faith that performs miracles, but God’s.
Word of Faith
Preachers who believe they can speak things into existence must realize that God’s will is more important than the so-called “faith-healer.” When Jesus healed people, He would tell them to “say nothing to no one.”
“Be it according to your faith,” Jesus once said. Is faith in God enough to heal? Not without Jesus’ involvement. If they had faith in themselves, they would not have come to Jesus. They had faith enough to know He could heal them, and He did.
